It depends on the dog and the size. Power chewers may get through a 12cm stick in one sitting; most dogs make it last several sessions. Always take it away once it's small enough to be a choking hazard.
The 12cm suits small to medium dogs or shorter chew sessions. The 24cm is better value and better suited to larger breeds or dogs who chew for longer.
